- Finish
- The stable end of a technique—balanced, aligned, no adjustment needed.
- Transition
- The movement between techniques. Often where errors actually happen.
- Alignment
- How the body lines up to deliver force without leaking balance.
- Directional intent
- Clear aiming of hips/shoulders/stance toward the intended target line.
- Selective tension
- Relax while moving, briefly stabilize at impact, then relax again.

Are these “official” ITF explanations?
No. This site is interpretive analysis meant to help training and coaching.
Why focus on systems?
